“I will be strong and courageous. I will not be terrified; I will not be discouraged. For you, my Lord, are with me wherever I go.”
These are the words that soon became the family prayer for Ivelisse Page, a stage IV Colon Cancer survivor. In this episode of the Kathryn For Real podcast, host Kathryn Gordon is joined by Ivelisse Page, a loving wife and mother of four, where they discuss Ivelisse’s journey – before, during and after her battle with Colon Cancer – using unconventional and alternative medicine.
After Ivelisse and her husband, Jimmy, consulted a variety of doctors and spent much time in Prayer – a conclusion was made that conventional Chemotherapy was not going to offer the best results or quality of life. Ivelisse was given the green light to start a holistic and alternative approach which included daily injections of Mistletoe and Thymus.
Ivelisse has beaten the 8% survival rate and has been completely Cancer Free since December 2008, without ever going through Chemotherapy. Ivelisse’s positive outlook and perseverance has inspired me, along with hundreds of thousands of individuals.
