Can you imagine looking back on your childhood, and the only memories you have are scarred by violence, abuse and psychological terrors? Where the only way to survive the terror is to force yourself to forget. Where “I’m fine” is a lie, you repeatedly tell yourself for years after?
On this week’s episode of Kathryn For Real, Kathryn sits down with Lisa Nikolidakis, survivor and author of the memoir “No One Crosses The Wolf”. In a reading that holds nothing back, Nikolidakis gives us a look through her metaphorical window into a real-life murder suicide movie. Where after years of physical, emotional and psychological abuse her father decided to leave her family. On her twenty-seventh birthday her father murdered his new girlfriend and her daughter before turning the gun on himself. After conflicting emotions of shock, grief for the innocent victims and relief that she had escaped the same fate, many questions still lingered within Lisa.
Listen in to this week’s episode to learn more about Nikolidakis’s explorations, not only of a killer but her own liberation from the demons that haunt her past.
